Terms of Use
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SIA CONEL MARKETING, a company registered in Latvia ("we", "us"), and govern your use of the N-Companion mobile application and the website conelmarketing.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What N-Companion is — and is not
Nutrition analysis is produced by artificial intelligence from photos, descriptions, barcodes, and menus. Estimates can be wrong or incomplete. Always verify information that matters — especially allergen information, which the app flags only as a convenience and never as a guarantee. If you have a medical condition, an allergy, or specific dietary needs, consult a qualified professional and rely on product labels, not on the app.
3. Using the Service
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, access it by automated means, or use it for anything unlawful.
- The Service requires no account; your data stays on your device as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on your Apple devices as permitted by the App Store terms. Product data retrieved from third-party databases (such as Open Food Facts) remains subject to its own licences.
5. Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We aim for the Service to be reliable but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the Service's estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
8. Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
